Internet and Driving in Kampala
I did it. I drove a car in Kampala. I did not want to but today I dared to sit down behind the steering wheel and I drove from Kisimenti to the Sheraton, back to Garden City and finally back home taking the Jinja Road. I survided, and so did my sub-landlord however, the car had to suffer a bit. I have to work on the coordination of the left foot and the left hand. Changing gears was sometimes a bit too loud and I did not expect to have so much car left from me - well, but I will master these little challenges, too.
Since an hour, I have a trial access to MTN's YelloAccess. To put it mildly: I sucks. I mean technologically fascinating - no doubt about it, BUT: It is terribly slow.
